We run our own DayZ server instead of pointing you at someone else's. Everything below comes straight from the game: the live player count, the map, and the address you paste into Direct Connect. Free to join, no application.

This server runs 28 mods

You do not need the list. Install the ExA Cup launcher and press Play: it checks your machine against the server and shows you anything you are missing before the game starts.

Open the DayZ launcher, pick Direct Connect, and paste the address to join.

How to join

Step 1

Install the ExA Cup launcher and press Play. It checks your machine against the server and shows you anything you are missing, so you are never guessing which mods matter. They have to match exactly or the server turns you away, and the error it shows does not say why.

Step 2

In DayZ, open the server browser and choose the COMMUNITY tab — not Official. Official lists only Bohemia's own servers, so ours can never appear there.

Step 3

Search the name shown on the card above and pick it from the list. That is the fastest way in and needs no address at all.

Step 4

Prefer to paste an address? Direct Connect takes the server address ending :2302. Adding it in Steam instead needs the Steam browser address ending :27016 — Steam finds nothing if you give it :2302.

Two ports, two different jobs — that trips up nearly everyone. :2302 is the game port for Direct Connect; :27016 is the query port Steam uses to look the server up. You also need a Steam account that owns DayZ, because Bohemia publishes no free client.

House rules

Short, and enforced. Everything else is normal survival: the world is persistent and other players are not obliged to be friendly.

Play it straight

No cheats, glitches, duping, or third-party tools of any kind.

Keep it civil

No racism, slurs, or targeted harassment, in chat or in voice.

Respect privacy

Do not stream-snipe, and never share another player's personal information.

No advertising

Do not promote other servers or communities in chat.

Bans are ours to call

Bans and their length are at the operators' discretion. Appeal through support.

Frequently asked

Usually one of three things. Search the exact name shown on the card at the top of this page — nothing longer. Make sure you are on the COMMUNITY tab, not Official, because Official lists only Bohemia's own servers. And if you are adding it through Steam, use the Steam browser address ending :27016, not the game address ending :2302 — Steam looks servers up on the query port and silently finds nothing when given the game port.
